The Start

Hi Guys,

So this is my  first blog, and I'm super excited to start this new journey! I've wanted to do this for quite some time  now and I'm finally able to do it. I just want to share a little information on why I am starting this and about who I am. My name is Paige and I have had a passion for doing hair and makeup since I could remember. Being apart of some sort of art was something I've done my entire life, and now I am able to use my art in making people feel beautiful. This is something that makes me feel so good in my everyday life knowing I can boost someone's self esteem just by simply doing something so small as styling their hair, or even by doing some makeup for an evening. I am starting this blog to share my knowledge or thoughts on different things- all which will be beauty related unless said otherwise.  One day, I hope to be high up in the beauty industry, and this is where my journey starts, So thank you for reading my blog today and I hope you enjoy.

So here is a little back story- I got into hair and makeup when I was in middle school, I would watch countless You Tube videos a day on new ways to do things and try them on myself. I knew all through high school that I wanted to attend beauty school as soon as I finished, and I did. I learned so much about hair and makeup that my skills have improved exponentially since. Going into school I thought "oh this is going to be easy, I'm going to be so good at this", but little did I know, I knew nothing compared to what I know now and I still have SO much learning to do. During my time in Cosmetology school I grew as a person more than I've ever grown in one year, and no I don't mean in height, I mean personal growth. I came out of my shell and had to push myself to do things that I was afraid to do. Today, I am a completely different person than I was a year ago. I have found my passion, the one thing I want to do for the rest of my life, and I'm ready to dive into this career and become more skilled and  knowledgeable than ever before.
